1. We make them comfortable by allowing them to remain in their home environment, while caring for them! While the physical environments of care settings can be disorienting and uncomfortable for individuals with Dementia, we offer in Allied Health Care that allows your loved one to stay or go wherever they feel the most comfortable!
  2. We support their independence! Our whole philosophy is built on freedom of our clients and simply assisting them in achieving what they want, rather than ‘helicopter-parenting’ our way through their lives. We understand that dementia is only a mere hindrance and that they should still be free to act and do as they please. In fact, we encourage this independence as this increases brain productivity!
  3. We genuinely listen! We understand that having a carer can be daunting, especially if you don’t feel heard. That’s why all members of our Allied Health Care family are trained in Dementia care and are screened personally for compassion and kindness, two traits that go a long way in this field. Our team not only has trained professionals, but people who have experienced first hand through relatives what Dementia is like and are there to listen with open ears and a genuine care!
  4. We are communicators! You don’t have to worry about the regular distractions and stresses that occur with hospital admissions or group care settings, as we care for our clients one-on-one. Our entire team are very well-versed in communicating clearly and understanding the specific communication needs of each individual making their care tailored to them!
  5. We will remind you! We understand the implications of Dementia and what it means which is why we do everything we can to prompt your loved ones memories, whether thats wearing a name tag or repeating names in sentences to trigger their memory.
  6. We’re trained! We are specialised in providing Dementia care for all stages of Dementia who are still living at home. Our team are highly trained in order to provide alternative therapies to manage behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia.
  7. We make it fun! We know how to keep your loved ones engaged and challenged in a fun and active way.
